6 Lippies From Pixi Beauty

I’ve been having a crush on Pixi for quite a while now, so every time I receive something from them is like Christmas. If you still didn’t try Pixi Beauty then you should definitely add it to your list.

This brand, even if is drugstore, impressed me with their cute aesthetic packaging and of course their high quality.

Today I’m going to feature 6 lippies that are perfect for everyday use. They’re neutral, perfectly wearable and they go so great with any season.

PIXI

PIXI Shea Butter Lip Balm ($8 for 0.141 oz) – comes in six beautiful shades and they are quite pigmented for a lip balm. I own four of them, but by far Natural Rose, Sweet Peach, and Ripe Raspberry are my favorite.

These lip balms are not crazy expensive and I can easily find them at my local Target. Loving the way it gives your lips a sheer hint of color that can be built up to a more opaque finish with just a few extra swipes.  The formula is enriched with nourishing shea butter, castor oil,  and vitamin E that helps heal cracks and dry lips.

Pros:

  • cruelty-free
  • no added fragrance
  • affordable
  • buildable pigmentation

Cons:

  • the packaging feels a bit flimsy

PIXI Mattelustre Lipstick ($12 for 0.13 oz) – is a long-time favorite of mine. The finish is pretty unique, like a mix of matte and satin finish which feels amazing on the lips. There are 11 colors in the collection but today I going to show you three of them: Peach BlossomBitten Rose, and Rose Naturelle. I feel that they look incredibly flattering with any skin tone. Lately, I’ve been wearing Bitten Rose a lot and I think it’s so perfect for this season!

The formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid, peptides, and vitamins C & E so they’ll gonna keep your lips hydrated and make them look fuller while protecting them from free radicals and other environmental stress and pollution.

Important note:  These lipsticks don’t contain added fragrance, so they have a slight chemical smell.  Keep that in mind!

  • cruelty-free
  • no added fragrance
  • amazing formula
  • buildable coverage

Cons:

  • a bit pricey

Overall opinion:

Personally, I think that both the lipsticks and the lip balms are nice. The lip balms are amazing because they can be applied so easy on the lips and as for the lipsticks, I quite love the finish and how they feel.
