Review: Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencils

Hello lovelies,
Since the day I received a goodie package from Hourglass, there were like 2-3 girls that kept sending me messages on my Facebook page asking me what I received. As I showed you on my Instagram account a few days ago, the 2 goodies I received are 2 Arch Brow Sculpting Pencils.

I was extatic to see them because I simply couldn’t do it with my Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade, I don’t like it, sorry girls.
I know it took me a while to do this review, but you know me, I prefer to take time to test everything just to be sure that this products are worth your money or no since this are a $32 brow pencils.
I’m gonna be honest with you…I suck at doing my brows ( yeah for you might be simple but for me is a pain in the back door, but at least I’m striving to perfect myself ( please don’t judge ).
The tip shape of the pencils helped me a lot!
From the first application I felt in love with the pencils and for the first time with my brows and I realized this pencils are going to be my favorites.
I received 2 shades: Soft Brunette & Warm Brunette…combined work like wonders for me.
The soft triangular shape tip allows you to fill the brows quickly no matter what shape your brows have.
Another thing that I love about this pencil is the wide spooly on the other end.
I simply love how easy I can fill  my brows, I love that I can add dimension in the most simple way, I love the consistency ( is like powder & wax ) and the brows look so natural.
With the wider part of the pencil I outline my brows and with the pointed tip, I fill the brows. I use Soft Brunette on the inner corner of my browns and when I get to my outer corner of the brows, I use the Warm Brunette pencil just because I want to emphasize it more & also because I have some bald spots and I want to leave the inner corner more natural.
If you’re searching for a natural, long lasting, water resistent, easy to use, easy to apply brow pencil then this one is for you. I know is $32 but you get almost x5 the amount of product you get in the Anastasia’s Brow Wizz…How crazy is that?
They have 9 natural shades for you to choose from:
  • Platinum Blonde – lightest cool blonde/platinum
  • Blonde – light to medium neutral blonde
  • Warm Blonde – dark blonde/strawberry blonde
  • Auburn – medium to deep red tones
  • Soft Brunette – light to medium cool brown
  • Warm Brunette – warm medium brown
  • Dark Brunette – deep brown with warm undertones
  • Ash – gray/dark brown with cool undertones
  • Natural Black – darkest brown to black
Overall:
You have a wonder pencil
– easy to use
– easy to apply
– long lasting
– resistent
– natural
– love the consistency
– wider brush
I really recommend this Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencils, as I told you I know they’re a bit expensive but look at the bright side: each pencil has 0.014oz (0.4gr) & Anastasia Brow Wizz has only 0.003oz (0.08gr).

Hope you enjoyed this post & if you did please let me know in a comment below! Now is time to sculpt my brows & write some post ideas for you girls! xoxo
